The Biggest Breakdancing and Bboying event to invade Robinsons

The New Image Productions began as a Hip Hop Street Dance Crew consisted of countless performances locally around the communities in Hawaii.  At the end of the New Image Dance Crew in 1998, they initiated and promoted “breakdancing.”  Former “Bboys” and “breakdancers” themselves, they wanted to positively contribute to their community and so they started teaching the art of this dance to local youth.  Since 1998, Clifton Abuan, the founder of New Image Productions continued to spread the art of Bboying by coordinating numerous hip hop dance events at local parties, shopping malls and other various venues.  It gave local upcoming bboy dancers an opportunity to showcase their talent.  New Image Productions expanded internationally by promoting bboying in the Philippines.  Since 2007, New Image’s biggest breakdance tours included exhibitions for local governments that wanted to build the breakdance movement nationally in their country. Currently in progress, New Image Productions is producing a first time full-length documentary “Pinoy BBoy” that will feature the breakdancing movement in the Philippines and its worldwide impact.  New Image Productions has worked alongside many of the top globally well-known breakdancers for its promotional events.  By providing opportunities for creativity and unity for local and international breakdancers, New Image Productions has made an impact in the breakdance community.  New Image Productions has become known in the Philippines and Hawaii as one of the leading innovators of the most talented kids in the Island of Kauai in Hawaii.  In the early 1990s, the crew had Bboy culture and dance, and is widely respected worldwide in the breakdance-bboy community.

A great event will invade the “City of Love” this coming May 11, 2013, 2pm-5pm at Robinsons Place Iloilo wherein the best in the world of “breakdancing” or “Bboying” will conduct workshop and bboy battle to all the hiphop dance enthusiasts. Aspiring and talented bboy dancers are invited to join their 1 vs. 1 battle and more. Dubbed as “SKILLZ PHILIPPINES - Legacy 7,” an annual Philippines Breakdance Tour presented by New Image Productions from Hawaii, USA. The Iloilo City is one of the chosen cities for the Skillz Philippines Tour wherein three of the best breakdancers in the world will hold a workshop at Robinsons Circle Ground.
